sachinOctober 31 – Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar is alone a milestone in the field of sports. Cricket gets a new definition as soon as discussion is made over the records he has made in his marvelous career of 24 years. The way he finished off in the domestic cricket and the way he said goodbye to IPL cricket were just brilliant. Above all, in his last World Cup in 2011, his teammates gave all their inputs so to reach to the finals and won the same, making it memorable for their ‘Star’, who is a living legend and idol of millions.

If you ask even a layman anything about cricket, he wouldn’t stop his conversation without mentioning Sachin’s contribution for his team with bat and ball. No matter, he fields, bowls or bats, the motto is just one – to win the match putting best performances. Little Master is not only famous for the way he plays but also for his honesty towards the game. Many a times, most of us have witnessed him walking off from the pitch when he felt he is out although umpires haven’t declared him out. Besides, his soft spoken behavior, utmost politeness and nature of giving respect to everyone make him stand apart.

Having his feet on the ground is also one of the best qualities of ‘God of Cricket’ even though he earned terrific success and popularity all over the world. Even contending teammates respect him for the same. Recall him scoring 200 runs against South Africa in One Day International. Players of South African team without any grudge feeling congratulated him on becoming the first cricketer to reach this mark in an ODI match. There are innumerable incidents that can be jotted down to say about his greatness but words become less when things have to be told Sachin, who is just complete in himself. Now, it’s the time for West Indies to plan against Master Blaster, who is going to give his final appearance in the International Test cricket next month only.
